Lot 2216 HIGH CONDITION WINCHESTER MODEL 37 SINGLE SHOT
SHOTGUN. Cal. 20 GA, 2 3/4". NSN. Bbl. 26". Model 37 single shot shotgun mfg. by Winchester between 1936-1963. The left side of the bbl. is marked with the Winchester trademark logo, followed by the model designation, above the cal. designation, "MOD. CHOKE", and "2 3/4 CHAM.". Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. Plain wood pistol grip buttstock, with Winchester red rubber recoil pad, and plain wood forend. Aluminum bead front sight. CONDITION: excellent, with metal components retaining the vast majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting few spots of light wear, scattered superficial handling marks, as well as a few spots of light surface oxidation and pitting overall. Top of the bbl. exhibits some scattered dings. Mirror bore, exhibiting well defined rifling throughout. Wood furniture shows some superficial marks and minor impressions from handling and storage, but otherwise remain very good overall. PROVENANCE: Estate of Russell Dickerman. (25-1911/MLW).
